Smoke over Northern Border

loop, below left, shows Moderate AQI
Pacific Southwest, Pacific Northwest, and Rocky Mountains,
as well as the Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast,
Mississippi Valley, and Great Plains. A few spots in
northern California and north-central Washington work
their way up to Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups around
noon before dropping back to Moderate by around three.

Canada toward the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic.
The HMS fire and smoke image, below left, suggests that
the smoke covering much of the area around the U.S.-Canada
border, additionally extending north to the Hudson Bay
