Sahara Sand Traveling Over the Atlantic

The NASA Worldview image above shows that sand is being pushed over the Atlantic Ocean as shown by the red mass of dots off of West Africa.

The NRL/Monterey Aerosol image above shows that the sand has traveled over the Atlantic Ocean towards mostly South America. At its highest concentration closer to West Africa there is a concentration of 2580-5120 ug/m**3 (in the orange).
